Värmland is a terrific area for people who like cycling, and a great way to explore this land of rolling hills, woodland, lakes, seashores, folklore and history.

All routes have some hills, but rarely are these beyond an average cyclist's ability.

From Tingshuset cycle down to the Viking burial mound in Högsäter and take the car ferry across the river, from where you can explore miles and miles of roads that zigzag through meadows and woodland leading to numerous lakes and small settlements.
